Dear Mr. Niamkey
I am sorry for writing to you directly but the Nepal Olympic Committee
is unable to inform me when I will be receiving the next instalment
of my scholarship and without any funding I am unable to continue
training.
So far I have received funding only for the Second Scholarship
Period (March – June) and the second payment for that arrived
only in September after a lot of argument about it.
So I have received no funding at all for the third period let
alone any money for the current period which began on Sunday.
The NOC also demanded that must cancel my 7 year long sponsorship
arrangements with Mr. Morley and get training somewhere else.
Consequently I must pay another trainer in advance and Mr. Morley
is no longer able to help me. I have a training period booked
for now but I cannot go there without any money.
The NOC have also refused to give me a official sponsorship letter
which I need to get a visa. Mr. Morley can no longer do this for
me either.
I am also concerned that the NOC did not ask me to get the Trainer’s
report for the second period which I know is required by Solidarity.
Mr. Morley has told me that he was not asked to provide it even
though he was perfectly happy to give it.
So I am very unhappy and worried that my whole career is now being
wasted by the NOC. Please help me.
